New Staff Member at Lovelle Plastic Surgery Specialists

Lovelle Plastic Surgery Specialists welcomes Alicia McCurry, R.N., to its staff.

NEWTON, KS — Alicia McCurry, R.N., has joined Lovelle Plastic Surgery Specialists at Newton Medical Center. She is responsible for performing BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal filler procedures. McCurry also fulfills the role of office manager.

McCurry earned her registered nurse degree from Butler County Community College and has nearly 27 years’ experience as an R.N. — the last 13 of which have been in plastic surgery and aesthetics nursing. She has advanced training in and holds certifications from Allergan and BOTOX Cosmetic, and she has been a dermatology nurse and certified laser trainer. Most recently, she was an aesthetic skin care nurse and office manager at Newleaf Vein and Aesthetics in Wichita.

“While my experience includes performing laser treatments and facials,” said McCurry, “people most often request me for BOTOX Cosmetic procedures and dermal fillers. I also provide a lot of skin care consultations.”

McCurry quickly focuses on what her clients’ goals are and provides them with the best suitable options to attaining those goals. She believes that her education and extensive years in the medical field enhance each of her patient’s experiences.

“A lot of times, people who are doing aesthetics don’t have a medical background,” McCurry said. “Here at Lovelle Plastic Surgery Specialists, our medical backgrounds give our patients reassurance that we are not glazing over such things as skin cancers. Our clients are treated by a comprehensive group of medical professionals who provide complete care.”
