It was my pleasure to meet former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich at last year's American Hospital Association conference in San Diego, CA. I shook his hand, and then looked on as MDNews Network anchor Charlie Milburn conducted an interview with Speaker Gingrich on topics of health care and medical research reform, and physician best practices.
Later, when MDNews Network's parent company CEO David McDonald asked me how Speaker Gingrich sounded, I made a bold prediction: "He sounds like he's going to run for president."
Now that Speaker Gingrich has officially tossed his hat into the presidential ring, I can't think of a better time to revisit the interviews and news stories featuring presidential candidate Newt Gingrich so that MDNews.com visitors can rediscover where he stands on some of the issues that are most important to those in the medical field.
With that purpose in mind, we've agregated these elements for you on one page. Click on the links below to watch the Gingrich interviews and read related articles.
